Taking place at Edinburgh Castle across the summer, these events are a major part of Edinburgh’s live events calendar. The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo running from 7 to 29 August 2026, brings together British military tradition with performances from a global cast, while the Castle Concerts series transforms the Esplanade into a large outdoor concert venue for a packed programme of live shows.

With over 200,000 attendees expected across the run of performances, our team will be in place throughout to provide medical support for attendees, organisers, performers and crew.

Supporting events on this scale involves far more than being there during performances. Our role includes planning ahead for busy audience movements, responding to medical incidents on site, and making sure there is the right level of medical support in place across both events. The Alphamed team will be working throughout the event period to help ensure people can access prompt, professional care when needed.
